I have looked at five different thriller teaser trailers which I found numerous of different genre conventions.

• Protagonist running 
• Mise-en-scene 
• Weapons 
• Impact sounds - Quick, high pitched 
• Running 
• Fighting 
• Doors being opened and closed 
• Voiceover 
• Eye candy 
• Slow tempo music at the beginning, then fast music as it builds up towards the end
